Housing and Meals

There is no cost for the program - meals and housing (if applicable) will be provided by the College of Engineering. If you are arriving on Thursday, November 5, you must note your arrival time on your acceptance form, especially if you are planning to stay on campus. Thursday Check-In will be from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the University Inn Best Western no later than 5:00 p.m. Please contact Sue Branting at (208) 885-6479 or sueb@uidaho.edu as soon as possible in order to confirm staying with a host on campus. If you will be arriving after this time on Thursday, you will need to arrange your own housing - a hotel list can be provided upon request. If you will be staying on campus, you will be sleeping in a room with a UI student host. There is a possibility that you may be sleeping on the floor. If you will be parking on campus, you must obtain a visitor's parking permit at the University of Idaho Parking Services office in the Student Union Building. You may do this on the day of arrival between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or by calling (208) 885-6422. For the 2009-2010 year, visitor permits will cost $1.00/day. |
