Centennial

College Of Engineering Prepares For Centennial
A committee of faculty, staff, and alumni have begun preparation for the centennial celebration of the College of Engineering in 2007. In the coming weeks, the group will establish dates and times for the events. The centennial will celebrate the thousands of alumni in over 65 countries spanning across seven continents. Here on campus, we’ll highlight the college’s growth from our first graduating class of two engineers, to seven departments, six research centers and institutes, nearly 1,800 current undergraduate and graduate students, and 101 faculty and staff members. The College of Engineering has also developed strong programs across the state including Boise, Idaho Falls, Post Falls and Moscow. Watch next month’s Engineering@Idaho edition for more information.
