The first weekend of May is a great time for engineering alumni celebrating 50 years or more since graduation to visit campus for the Golden I Reunion and the Engineering EXPO. The Golden I Reunion honors Idaho alumni who graduated from the University 50 or more years ago. There are Golden I activities from May 1-3. While visiting for the Golden I Reunion don't miss the opportunity to meet College of Engineering Dean Donald Blackketter, at the Dean's Reception on April 30, from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Best Western University Inn. On Friday May 1, the College of Engineering invites all Engineering Golden I alumni to attend Engineering EXPO activities throughout the day at the Student Union Building. The College will be hosting an Engineering Golden I luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Student Union Building, Silver and Gold rooms. Throughout the day the SUB Ballroom will be filled with senior engineering student design projects, and students will be giving technical presentations Friday morning.
