Each year, the College of Engineering presents the Idaho Engineering Design EXPO, a signature event of the university that exhibits the innovative teamwork of senior engineering students. This year, your students will have the unique opportunity to explore and interact with University of Idaho College of Engineering graduate and undergraduate students and get a hands-on look into the world of math, science, and engineering.
Thanks to the generous support of the Micron Foundation, Engineering Design EXPO 2008 features an exciting new outreach effort just for high schools. The Micron EXPO Innovations Outreach Award funds scholarships to allow your students to put their skills to the test in various competitions. These activities are designed to challenge their problem solving abilities, creativity, and excite them about a future in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). This exciting and interactive 2-day event will begin Thursday, April 24, on the University of Idaho campus.
