VANDAL ROBOTICS CHALLENGE
Like most Idaho students, Robo-Vandal has a busy schedule. Between classes, a job, and extra curricular activities, Robo-Vandal has to run all over campus before the day is done! Each robotic student will be given an "itinerary" of tasks to complete before heading to the Kibbie Dome to watch the big game!

Participating teams will each receive a Parallax robot kit to design and program the University of Idaho's newest high-tech student. Teams may spend up to $50 on additional modifications to their robot. Robots require a USB connection to a computer. Each team is required to provide its own laptop for use at the competition.

The competition is made up of two phases: an individual timed competition, and a multi-player obstacle course.

Phase 1:
Race around the University of Idaho campus and beat your opponent to a golden finish at the Kibbie Dome!
Two robots face-off, and must navigate through a series of obstacles on "campus" before racing to the Kibbie Dome. If the robots crash on the course, both teams must start over. Rounds will be timed, and scores will be awarded for the best time and most accurate completion of designated tasks.

Phase 2:
Timing is everything when you're a busy Vandal! Teams must navigate their robot around the University of Idaho "campus" as quickly and accurately as possible. This is a timed competition which will require on-the-spot programming.

Registration is limited to the first 20 teams. Don't miss your chance, apply now!
