Work assignments primarily R&D in energy related fields, such as, design of experimental facilities, heat transfer studies, solar energy, Laboratory Pressure Systems Engineer, power plant pressure systems, ASME Codes and Standards and power piping codes, over 10 years were spent in the area of improved power plant cooling towers, including dry and wet cooling systems. Registered engineer (ME) in the states of Washington and Idaho. Active in ASME, Chairman of the Columbia Section, Served as Regional Chair for College and ASME relations, also served on ASME Code technical sub-committee. Retired in 1991.
